There will be a limited number of 4-week fellowships available for advanced doctoral students who have completed a standard course on quantum field theory. The fellowships will include 4 weeks of food and lodging, as well as airfare from your home institution. All applicants will be expected to stay for the full 4-week period from August 17 - September 11. 

To apply for the fellowship, please send email to cesaft@ift.unesp.br with the Subject header "Application" and with the following information: 

1) Name
2) Home institution
3) Date of birth
4) Place of birth
5) Year when you expect to receive your PhD
6) Year when you completed a standard course on quantum field theory
7) Topic of PhD research
8) Professor who will send a recommendation letter
9) Any additional information (publications, participation in schools, etc.)

You must also ask your thesis adviser (or another professor) to send a letter of recommendation to cesaft@ift.unesp.br with the Subject header "Recommendation letter". Both the application and the recommendation letter must be received before July 10, 2009 in order to receive full consideration for the 4-week fellowship.
